Digit

The last friend concept art for my upcoming picture book 256 Postcards Ago.

Originally I was going to have this character as a backpack for Nicholas (the boy), hence the bag straps, but in the end I decided it would work as an ordinary stuffed bug toy so there ya go.

Digit is Nicholas' favourite cuddly toy and his most faithful companion. Digit has no mouth.. I'm not sure if the other friends can talk but Digit certainly doesn't!

Digit is also the only companion normal people can see.
